Broken Landscapes, 2025

As an environmental artist, my work delves into the cyclical relationship between human development and the natural world. Inspired by the landscapes of Pennsylvania and Ohio, I focus on the intersection of weathered, abandoned human-made structures and nature's steady reclamation.

This piece represents a past geological era, with the top layer symbolizing what the 21st century may one day look like in the distant future. It imagines the remnants of our time, frozen in layers that might one day be studied by future civilizations.

Transmogrification, 2024

This collection is my journey of interpretation and abstraction of the landscape to create transcendental spaces. Through studies of charcoal sketches and small plein air oil paintings I create compositions that later on are abstracted on a larger scale with oil on wood panels.
